Virtual Reality: Limitless Possibilities for Service Design

Benjamin Lucas from Maastricht University and Kay Schröder from Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, published a guest article on the possibilities of virtual reality for service design for the American Marketing Association SERVSIG group. In this article they give an interesting insight into their virtual reality project (NI1) at BISS, which is aimed at putting VR technology in the hands of bioinformatics and computational biology researchers working with complex network data.

How will your organization prepare for extreme scenarios?

Last week the BISS Institute and the Service Science Factory published an informative article on the outcomes of a collaborative project with APG called ''Extreme Scenarios''. Rapid changes in technology, customer needs and society forces large organizations to constantly adapt to a changing context in order to remain relevant. The aim of the the Extreme Scenarios project was to create strategies that make use of these new opportunities and to prepare organizations for these upcoming challenges by painting a picture of the future. This project led to some interesting insights worth sharing. Therefore these insights were captured in an article by Damiën Luciën Nunes and Martine Hermans.
