At the first-ever online KidzCollege, more than 250 eighth-grade pupils from 9 different schools became certified experts in recognizing deep fake videos.
They learned from BISS’ Lisa Brüggen and Judith Kamalski how fake videos are made and what the dangers can be. The BISS team turned the challenge to hold the event online into an opportunity for pupils to use digital tools and create, experiment, and contribute in real-time, which would not have been possible on location. It was an interactive, highly participatory experience, and a true team effort. And on top of that: it was a lot of fun.
