The SIENNA (Stakeholder-Informed Ethics for New technologies with high socio-ecoNomic and human rights impAct) project is coming to an end.
BISS members Dr Darian Meacham and Dr Robert Gianni were involved in the project and contributed to the research that aims to develop ethical protocols and codes for human genomics, human enhancement and AI & robotics.
The final conference presenting 3.5 years of work will take place online on March 10-12, 2021. During the three-day event on Ethics, Human Rights & Emerging Technologies, instruments like regulation, innovation policies, research ethics frameworks, Ethics by Design methodologies, education and training programs, standards and certification will be addressed.
