
Stefan Bos
PhD candidate
Stefan is a PhD candidate at BISS, collaborating with Maastricht University School of Business and Economics (SBE). His research focuses on increasing empathy and understanding towards stigmatized or vulnerable groups through the use of Virtual Reality. Specifically, Stefan examines the psychological effects of virtual simulations on behaviour and emotions.
Stefan has MSc degrees in both behavioural sciences and legal psychology. He previously worked as a research intern at Maastricht University’s clinical psychology department, where he studied Virtual Reality as a tool for psychological interventions within forensic psychology.
