DigiMach: Smart, Sustainable, and Connected Manufacturing

In progress

DigiMach is an INTERREG Meuse-Rhein project aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of the manufacturing industry in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

It does this by developing a regional Digital Innovation Hub that supports SMEs in becoming more competitive, resilient, and sustainable through digitalisation, automation, and servitisation. The initiative brings together multiple partners like knowledge institutions, companies, and governments to address technological adoption barriers and to foster collaborative innovation.

The project focuses on:

• Strengthening innovation capabilities in manufacturing companies.

• Offering demonstration facilities, testing environments, and training.

• Supporting SMEs in implementation trajectories.

• Stimulating ecosystem collaboration between industry, academia, and government.

At BISS our contribution focuses on building the multi-lingual DigiMach platform - a dynamic knowledge hub that connects SMEs across borders.

Through this platform, companies can:

• Assess digital tools and understand their implementation needs.

• Train their staff with targeted resources.

• Share experiences within cross-country communities.

• Access public content to inspire newcomers, while using private sections for more tailored collaboration.
