Rudolf is one of the principal investigators representing the School of Business and Economics at BISS. His mission is to make data and algorithms useful for organizations and society, from technical aspects to the human and organizational factor. His academic work in this regard includes topics such as efficient algorithms and data structures for prescriptive analytics, cloud computing infrastructures for scientific computing, the economics of coordination mechanisms on digital platforms and behavioral studies. He enjoys sharing his broad experience in bachelor’s, master’s and executive education and has supervised numerous projects with the business community since he started at BISS in 2015.
Rudolf holds a master in Mathematics (Universität Bonn), PhD in applied Mathematics (Technische Universität Berlin), and Habilitation in Information Systems (Humboldt University zu Berlin).
